Cancellations and Returns

Once you have placed an order, please note that we are unable to cancel or edit your order. Accordingly, please ensure all product and delivery details are correct.

In the unlikely event that the goods received are faulty or defective, not as ordered or not of acceptable quality, please email us at info@aurummead.com or contact us on 0468 339 538 and we will attempt to remedy the situation promptly. We may require samples to be sent back to us (at the customer’s expense), which, if found to be faulty, both purchase and shipping costs will be refunded to the customer. If we are unable to supply you with mead of the vintage that you ordered, we reserve the right to substitute it for the same mead of a different vintage.

Please note, we have invested in premium quality cork, but please note that we don’t accept returns for wines affected by cork taint or cork-related faults. Cork is natural, thus can occasionally be unpredictable. We do accept returns if there is another problematic fault with the wine, on the proviso a sample is shown to us first.

Order Limitations

We may accept any order for the supply of goods (in whole or in part), or decline any order. We are not liable to you in respect of those goods that we are unable to supply to you, provided that we refund any amounts paid by you in respect of the unsupplied goods.

Prices and Payment

Payment is only deemed to have been made once it has been cleared and received to our nominated bank account. The price of the goods (and delivery services if applicable) in relation to an order will be calculated by reference to the prices specified on the site at the time that order is placed. Where you have paid for the goods at the time of ordering, title and risk in the goods passes to you on delivery of the goods to the delivery address.

Delivery

Delivery is charged at a flat rate of $15 Australia-wide for orders of 1-5 bottles, $20 for orders of 6-11 bottles and free shipping on all orders of 12 bottles or more (excluding wholesale). We cannot yet offer Express shipping at this time, but please contact us via phone or email if you require your order urgently.

At Aurum Mead Co. we mainly ship our orders via Australia Post eParcel, but for certain areas we may use third party providers such as Aramex and local couriers. Please allow 2-7 business days for delivery from date of order acceptance.

Unless the purchaser expressly provides to the contrary, the purchaser requests the seller to deliver the goods to the purchaser. Any delivery timeframes specified by us are indicative only. We are not liable for any loss or damage that you may suffer if delivery is not made within the delivery timeframes or it is delayed for any reason.

We are not obliged to deliver the goods to a location where our nominated contractor or agent does not provide delivery services. The person we deliver to must be aged 18 years or over (and may be asked to provide proof of age). If no one is at the delivery address, or if there is no one aged 18 or over, an attempted delivery notice will be left at the delivery address and you will need to collect your mead from the location specified in the notice.

Please contact us on 0468 339 538 or email info@aurummead.com for any further questions regarding delivery.
